The VFS Journal
For every IRMAn, the village fieldwork part is a
trip down memory lane. As an element of rural management, it nourishes us and
bestows on us a milieu of memories. The journey is intriguing because the
individuals they encounter end up being the heroes and characters in the tales
that inspire them. The VFS experience is distinctive because of the
never-ending chats, the unexpected visitors, the struggles of the houses, the
hidden influences, and the mixing exchanges with complete strangers.
iSEC.
One of IRMA’s student organizations is called the
iSEC, or “IRMA Social Entrepreneurship Cell.” The concept for this student body
came from the class of 2012–2014 (PRM 33), who wanted to be a leader in the
development of sustainable, socially impactful initiatives. As a result, many
aspects of each concept would be highlighted and discussed, providing the
aspiring businessperson considerable exposure.
The Finance Club, Arthasya.
According to Arthasya – The Finance Club, diversity
and advancement are key components of the field of finance. The club’s goal is
to inform members about contemporary finance, fintech, and the function of
financial institutions. The organization strives to instill a positive work
ethic among aspiring rural managers and provide them with the resources they
need to put the theoretical ideas they have learned in school into practice.
The marketing club is Nishadya. The Academic Committee of PRM 35, which had the
notion to start a club for aspiring marketers, is responsible for the birth of
Nishadaya. Members of the cohort discussed the concept, and after numerous
rounds of constructive debate, Nishadaya came to be.
Jigyasa, The IRMA Quiz Club.
This demand inspired the creation of Jigyasa- The
Quiz Club of IRMA in IRMA. Shabbir Haider of class 2010-12 (PRM 31) founded the
group using a basic computer messenger. The first intra-college quizzing league
(IRMA quizzing league), Shastrarth, was launched by the 2013–15 cohort (PRM
34). The following group completed Shastrarth 2.0 successfully, and the pattern
has persisted ever since. Terre Firma Terra Firma – The Student Magazine has
served as a platform for PGDM (RM) participants to go beyond and deeper in
their classroom learning as well as an outlet for them to express their
creativity and serve as a useful hub for opposing points of view and several
others.
